Notice Regarding Resumption of Operations

It is our pleasure to be able to announce that part of the operations of our Home Sanitation Division suspended since July 7, 2006 by the order of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, will be resumed on October 8, 2006 as described below. We wish to express our deepest regret once again for causing distress and concern to SANIXfs customers and other stakeholders. We at SANIX will re-institute the principle of gCustomers Come Firsth and promote our efforts to ensure strict compliance, in order to recover consumerfs confidence as quickly as possible.

1. Suspended operations will be resumed in the following six sales offices:
Gifu Sales Office, Sakai Branch Office, Kure Sales Office, Saga Sales Office, Kumamoto Branch Office and *Odawara Sales Office

*The Odawara Sales Office will be engaged in customer management operations (regular inspection and follow-up maintenance services), as part of gBusiness Streamlining Planh announced on August 9, 2006.

2. Operations to be resumed
- Solicitation of the conclusion of new service contracts
- Acceptance of applications for service contracts from customers via home-call sales activities
- Conclusion of service contracts through home-call sales activities
